Banking Quest is pleased to announce their next webinar on “Trade Based Money Laundering” on 21st March, 2021 from 11 am to 12 noon (Sunday).

In this webinar, we shall be discussing how the process of physical movement of goods using the trade system is misused by criminal organizations and terrorist financiers to move money for the
purpose of disguising its origin and integrating it into the formal economy. Trade Based Money Launderers (TBML) use banking systems to fulfil their ulterior motive. The challenge lies in
identifying the questionable transactions. The basic techniques of TBML as per the study by Financial Action Task Force will be discussed in the webinar.
